"Dance Again" is an uptempo dance-pop song, written by AJ Junior, The Chef, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, and RedOne, who also produced the song. It marks the third time that Lopez and Pitbull collaborated on a song; the previous songs being the promotional single "Fresh Out the Oven" (2009) and the single "On The Floor" (2011). Lopez is unsure whether or not the song is a single from her upcoming greatest hits album, or a new studio album.

It was written by Savan Kotecha, Pitbull, Shellback and Max Martin, with the latter two producing it. It is the first single from Usher's EP, Versus.
